Chana is Vice President, Agriculturalist of 4R Farms in Lamar, Colorado.  She and her husband, Dean, together farm 1600 acres of irrigated farm ground growing alfalfa, wheat, corn and milo.  The two of them have been in business for 26 years.  Chana retired after 21 years of service from the Lamar Chamber of Commerce as Executive Director in December 2012 to join her husband full time since the kids were leaving home to pursue their careers.  Her role during her tenure was responsible for effectively leading the Lamar Chamber of Commerce to successfully achieving its mission of service to its members.  She was instrumental in the recruitment and event coordination of the Cal Ripken Baseball World Series in 2009 and the Babe Ruth Fast Pitch Softball World Series in 2011, both hosted in Lamar.  She also served on the Prowers County Lodging Tax Panel for five years, Sand and Sage Fair Board for 7 years, as well as Big Timbers Motocross Board. She also was a set mother of the Denim & Lace and Dudes & Dames Square Dancing organizations her children were a part of.

Born and raised in Lamar, Chana married her high school sweetheart, Dean, following college. Together they have two sons. Following graduation from Colorado School of Mines, Kyle is a Metallurgist Engineer at Nucor Steel in Blytheville, Arkansas.  Brandon is a Senior Airman in the United States Air Force, stationed in Tacoma, Washington.
