Michele joined GOCO in 2015 after spending about 10 years as an attorney for the Denver Water Board, focusing on real property and transactional matters. At GOCO, she runs the Open Space and Conservation Excellence grant programs, as well as the new Protect Initiative that funds once-in-a-lifetime, large conservation projects. She lives in Aurora and can be found stand-up paddleboarding at Aurora Reservoir all summer long. With her husband and two children, Michele frequently heads to the mountains to enjoy all Colorado has to offer. As a member of the GOCO team, she aims to provide the same opportunities to families around the state.
