| As part of its commitment to improving the connection between youth, families and the outdoors, the GOCO Board has allocated up to $100,000 to fund gap and opportunity analyses in two Colorado communities. The analyses are designed to determine how connected youth and families are to the outdoors; reveal gaps and barriers to these connections; and identify opportunities for improved connections. In June 2012 Larimer County completed the Plug Into Nature project, the first GOCO-funded study of this kind. Applicants must use Plug Into Nature’s Replication Guide and resources to conduct their own studies. To review these documents and for more information, visit www.larimer.org/plugintonature. |
