To help flood-ravaged communities restore damaged or destroyed parks, trails and open spaces, GOCO will provide up to $5 million in emergency grant funds in spring 2014. Communities in the 11 counties declared federal disaster areas following the September 2013 flooding (Adams, Arapahoe, Boulder, Clear Creek, El Paso, Fremont, Jefferson, Larimer, Logan, Morgan and Weld) will be eligible to apply for the special GOCO grants. Applications are available by request.
The grants, funded by GOCO’s portion of Colorado Lottery revenues, will be awarded on April 9, 2014.
