About the GOCO Board
Our board members are all volunteers who share a passion for Colorado’s great outdoors. Appointed by the Governor and confirmed by the Colorado State Senate, each member may serve up to two four-year terms. Board members approve GOCO’s financial plans, grant programs, and all grant awards.

On Feb. 12, 2026, GOCO’s Finance Committee recommended advancing a proposed amendment to the 2026–2030 Spending Plan to the full board for consideration at the March 12 meeting. The amendment is open for public comment through March 12, 2026. Comments may be submitted to Josh Tenneson at jtenneson@goco.org.
