Alex Castino

Senior Program Officer,
Northeast
Alex Castino is passionate about conserving Colorado's special places and ensuring outdoor spaces are accessible and welcoming to all Coloradoans. She enjoys collaborating with partners to identify shared priorities and opportunities for transformative conservation and community outcomes.

Before GOCO, Alex worked at Larimer County, where she supported conservation easement tax credit transactions and acquired over 2,000 acres to benefit current and future residents and visitors.

Alex moved to Colorado's Front Range from Vermont in 2014. She received her Juris Doctor and Master of Environmental Law and Policy at Vermont Law School and is a licensed Colorado attorney.

When she's not working to protect the outdoors, you can catch Alex enjoying them through mountain biking, camping, gardening, sailing, and snowboarding with her husband Frank, her children Francis and Parker, and her sweet dog, Lady.
