Rosemary Dempsey

Director of Marketing and Communications

Rosemary Dempsey joined GOCO in 2016, bringing more than a decade of agency experience leading strategic, creative, and integrated marketing efforts for national and international brands. At top Colorado agencies, she helped clients in sectors ranging from tourism to technology build enduring relationships with their audiences.

As GOCO’s director of marketing and communications, she oversees a high-performing team and initiatives to grow awareness, engagement, and trust with partners and stakeholders, policymakers, and Coloradans. Though she grew up in New Jersey, Oklahoma, and Arkansas, she’s proud to have called Colorado home for more than two decades—and is honored to amplify outdoor wins from GOCO’s passionate partner network.

Rosemary leads Generation Wild, a nationally recognized communications campaign that motivates Colorado kids and families to spend more time outside. Its aim to make kids happier, healthier, and more connected to nature inspires her daily.

Rosemary received a master’s degree in mass communication research from the University of Colorado Boulder and a bachelor’s in film studies, minor in English, from Dartmouth College.

Her favorite things to do are walk her dog Mac, cook new foods, take road trips, and spend time with family.
